2027 Kawasaki Z650RS Launched in India at Rs. 7.83 Lakh

Kawasaki has officially launched the 2027 iteration of its popular neo-retro roadster, the Z650RS, in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 7.83 lakh (ex-showroom), the motorcycle retains the exact same price tag as its predecessor. If you were expecting major upgrades or fresh paint schemes, Kawasaki has kept the motorcycle completely unchanged in every aspect. Available exclusively in the Metallic Ocean Blue color, the update is essentially a '2027' model year tag on the official website, indicating the bike will remain on sale in its current proven avatar for another year.
The main draw of the Z650RS continues to be its stunning blend of vintage charm and modern reliability. Built around a lightweight trellis frame, the bike features a classic round headlamp, a retro-style twin-pod console, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a sleek tail section housing a comfortable single-piece seat. The striking golden alloy wheels add a beautiful contrast to the deep blue paint, significantly elevating its visual appeal on the streets.
Underneath its classic exterior lies a very capable modern machine. Powering the Z650RS is Kawasaki’s tried-and-tested 649cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out a healthy 67bhp and 64Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. Known for its smooth and linear power delivery, the engine makes the bike approachable for daily commutes while remaining highly engaging for spirited weekend rides. It is fully equipped with contemporary safety and rider aids, including traction control, dual-channel ABS, 41mm telescopic front forks, and a preload-adjustable monoshock, ensuring that the ride is as confident and comfortable as it is stylish.
