Rockstar Games has officially unveiled the cover artwork for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans their first proper look at the game's visual identity ahead of pre-orders opening on June 25. The reveal came via a brief 30-second teaser video posted to Rockstar's YouTube channel—though this isn't the next full trailer fans are still eagerly awaiting.
The cover art centers on the game's dual protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, flanked by high-octane action: a motorbike rider pulling stunts beside a police cruiser, and a helicopter armed with a minigun. Further down, eagle-eyed fans spotted supporting characters including real estate mogul Boobie Ike and veteran bank robber Raul Bautista, plus a speedboat, sports car, flamingo, and a rather menacing alligator—hinting at the blend of urban crime and open-world wilderness exploration to come.
Perhaps most anticipated is what June 25 will finally answer: the price. With development costs rumored to be astronomical, speculation has ranged from $70 to as high as $100. However, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously reassured players that the company aims to keep pricing fair, stating that consumers should feel they're getting spectacular value for what they pay. GTA VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
