Renault Duster Hybrid Launched at ₹16.99 Lakh with 160PS Power and 29kmpl Mileage

Renault has launched the new Duster Hybrid in India, with prices starting at ₹16.99 lakh ex-showroom. The strong-hybrid SUV is available in three variants: Evolution at ₹16.99 lakh, Techno at ₹18.99 lakh and the top-end Emotion at ₹19.99 lakh.
The Duster Hybrid is powered by Renault’s E-Tech 160 system. It combines a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with two electric motors and a 1.4kWh battery pack. The powertrain produces 160PS and 208Nm of motor torque, while the SUV comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Renault claims a fuel efficiency of up to 29kmpl.

One of the biggest highlights of the Duster Hybrid is its ability to run in electric mode for up to 80% of the time during city driving, depending on traffic and driving conditions. This makes it suitable for urban users who want better fuel efficiency without compromising on performance. The SUV also gets frequency-dependent damping technology for improved ride comfort and highway stability.
The Duster Hybrid continues with the bold design of the new-generation Duster, featuring pronounced wheel arches, chunky roof rails and connected LED tail lamps. Hybrid-specific touches include illuminated Duster lettering on the grille and an E-Tech badge on the front doors.
Inside, the SUV gets a black and dune-brown cabin with leatherette upholstery. Key features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, wireless charging and dual-zone climate control.
Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, tyre pressure monitoring and Level 2 ADAS. With its powerful hybrid engine, attractive styling and strong feature list, the Renault Duster Hybrid aims to compete with models such as the MS Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and MS Victoris.
