Ather Announces That Every Vehicle Made From 2026 Uses Its New Bedrock Battery

Ather claims that all its vehicles from 2026 onwards have been using the company’s new Bedrock batteries. The move marks an important step in Ather’s focus on improving battery durability, safety and long-term performance across its electric scooter range.

According to Ather, the Bedrock battery is enclosed in a heavy-duty, die-cast aluminium shell and offers IPX7 water resistance. This construction is designed to protect the battery from water, dust, vibrations and rough riding conditions. Ather also says that advanced firmware continuously monitors the battery system to help keep the scooter safe and maintain performance, including acceleration, top speed and gradeability.

The battery is supported by an extended warranty of up to 10 years or 1,00,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, with an assured 70% State of Health. Ather’s warranty information also highlights coverage for electronic defects and failures, as well as deep discharge during periods when the scooter remains unused.

With its strong protective casing, software monitoring and long-term warranty support, Ather is positioning Bedrock as a durable and dependable battery platform for its 2026-and-later vehicles. For riders, this could mean greater confidence in battery life and ownership over the years.
