Casio Adds the Café Kitsuné AQ-230ECK-3A to Its Vintage Collection

Casio has officially launched the AQ-230ECK-3A, a new addition to its Vintage collection developed in collaboration with the Franco-Japanese brand and specialty coffee retailer Café Kitsuné. The watch modifies the standard AQ-230 model with specific colorway and branding updates while retaining the established dual-display format.

The AQ-230ECK-3A is built around a resin and chrome-plated case measuring 38.8 mm in length, 29.8 mm in width, and 8.1 mm in height. The complete watch weighs 47 grams and is fitted with a standard resin glass crystal. The case is paired with a stainless steel band that utilizes an adjustable clasp and accommodates wrist circumferences ranging from 150 mm to 205 mm. The watch carries a standard "Water Resistant" rating for day-to-day use.

For this collaboration, the dial is finished in a matcha-inspired shade of green and features the Café Kitsuné fox symbol above the digital display. Additional branding includes the fox symbol and the Café Kitsuné logo engraved on the stainless steel case back, along with the logo engraved on the adjustable clasp. The watch is delivered in customized packaging that matches the green color scheme of the dial.

Functionally, the watch utilizes a dual-time display, combining an analog two-hand (hour and minute) layout with a digital screen. The digital display indicates the hour, minute, second, pm, month, date, and day, and can be toggled between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

Additional integrated features include a 1/100-second stopwatch with a measuring capacity of 59 minutes and 59.99 seconds (measuring elapsed time), a daily alarm, and an hourly time signal. It also includes an auto-calendar calibrated for 28 days in February. The movement operates with an accuracy of ±30 seconds per month and is powered by an SR920W battery, which provides an approximate lifespan of three years.

The AQ-230ECK-3A is priced at ¥17,600 including tax, or approximately $110 USD. Preorders opened on September 1, 2026, with general release set for September 3, 2026. Availability is limited to the Casio Online Store, Café Kitsuné retail locations, select Maison Kitsuné stores, and the Maison Kitsuné online store. Casio has not published a limited-edition production figure.
