Casio Unveils the Upcoming MRG-B2100HS and MRG-B2100HR Anniversary Editions
Casio has announced two upcoming limited-edition models in the MR-G 30th Anniversary series: the MRG-B2100HS-9A and MRG-B2100HR-1A. Scheduled for an official launch in November 2026, both releases integrate traditional metal leaf techniques applied by metal leaf artist Hiroto Rakusho into the latticework dials.
The updated MR-G collection is built around a case measuring 49.5 mm in length, 44.4 mm in width, and 13.6 mm in height, with a total weight of 122 grams. The exterior components employ a mix of metals. The MRG-B2100HS-9A features a titanium and COBARION construction. The MRG-B2100HR-1A utilizes a COBARION top bezel, DAT55G titanium alloy for the bracelet links, and Ti64 titanium for the case, case back, buttons, and crown. Both models feature a tight-lock, 1-press, 3-fold clasp on a solid titanium band and are treated with a Diamond Like Coating (DLC) for wear resistance. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.
The dials differ by model. The MRG-B2100HS-9A incorporates a hand-applied gold leaf finish, while the MRG-B2100HR-1A utilizes a platinum leaf finish. Both cases feature structural color textures on the bezel and bracelet, generated via an ultrashort-pulse laser to produce a foil-stamped texture effect.
Mechanical and digital features are unified across both models. Power is supplied by Casio's Tough Solar charging system. Timekeeping is regulated through a combination of Multi band 6 radio control and Bluetooth Smartphone Link via the CASIO WATCHES app for automatic time adjustment. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters (20 bar), and the cases are both shock and magnetic resistant. Additional functions include a white LED Super Illuminator, a full auto-calendar up to the year 2099, power saving mode, and auto hand home position correction.
The collection will debut with 2 distinct variants.
The MRG-B2100HS-9A is limited to 150 pieces worldwide. The MRG-B2100HR-1A is limited to 800 pieces worldwide.
Both models have their respective serial numbers and the "MR-G 30TH" logo engraved on the case back.
