Citizen Expands Its Promaster Dive Lineup with Three New Eco-Drive Models

Citizen has added three new models to its Promaster Dive collection: the BN0276-54L, the BN0270-51E, and the BN0251-04L. The lineup introduces two 40.6 mm stainless steel bracelet variants and one 44 mm polyurethane strap variant, all operating on Citizen’s light-powered Eco-Drive technology and rated for 200 meters of water resistance.

The collection is divided into two case sizes constructed from silver-tone stainless steel. The BN0276-54L and BN0270-51E share a 40.6 mm case diameter with a standard 3 o'clock crown and a unidirectional rotating dive bezel, finished in blue on the BN0276-54L and orange on the BN0270-51E. The BN0251-04L uses a larger 44 mm silver-tone stainless steel case equipped with a unidirectional easy-grip dive bezel and a crown positioned at 4 o'clock.

All three watches are powered by Citizen’s Eco-Drive movement technology, which converts any light source into energy continuously and eliminates the need for battery replacements. Both the BN0276-54L and BN0270-51E use the Calibre E118 movement. For the 44 mm BN0251-04L, Citizen's specification table lists the Calibre E118 movement, while the product description references the Calibre E168. All three models provide 3-hand timekeeping with a date display.

Each model features a sunray dial paired with applied hour markers and luminous-treated hands and markers. On the 40.6 mm models, the BN0276-54L has a blue sunray dial and the BN0270-51E has a black sunray dial, both placing the date window at the 3 o'clock position. The 44 mm BN0251-04L features a light blue sunray dial with oversized hands and places the date window at the 4 o'clock position. Across all three references, the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, and the cases are ISO-compliant with a water-resistance rating of 200 meters (20 Bar) for swimming, marine sports, and scuba diving.

For wrist wear, the 40.6 mm BN0276-54L and BN0270-51E are fitted with silver-tone triple-link stainless steel bracelets secured by a safety fold-over clasp with a push button. Citizen lists bracelet sizing adjustments from 120 mm to 220 mm in 10 mm increments. The 44 mm BN0251-04L is paired with a blue polyurethane strap fastened with a polyurethane buckle.

The three Promaster Dive models are priced at CA $595.00 for the polyurethane strap version (BN0251-04L) and CA $695.00 for the stainless steel bracelet versions (BN0276-54L and BN0270-51E). Each watch includes a 5-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
