CITIZEN Unveils Vintage-Inspired TSUYOSA Shore Limited Edition

Citizen has just announced a highly anticipated addition to its beloved lineup with the new TSUYOSA Shore Limited-Edition (Model NJ0238-57E). Scheduled for launch in August 2026 with a highly approachable projected price of $462.50 USD, this release brings color and everyday fun by blending sporty durability with a nostalgic "Journey Back in Time" aesthetic. Watch enthusiasts will need to act quickly, as this vintage-inspired mechanical timepiece is strictly limited to just 12,000 pieces worldwide.

The watch's 40.0mm by 12.5mm stainless steel case and comfortable three-link metal bracelet house a visually striking design. It features a uniquely textured, deep black gradient dial that is beautifully contrasted by a warm gold-colored one-way rotating bezel scale and matching luminous indices and hands. Protecting the dial is a premium sapphire crystal equipped with a date magnifier for ultimate visibility, making it the perfect companion for active lifestyles, especially when paired with its robust 10 BAR water resistance.

Turning the watch over reveals a transparent case back that showcases Citizen’s mechanical mastery. The watch is powered by the Caliber 8210, an automatic and manual winding movement featuring 21 jewels, a stop-second function, and a frequency of 21,600 vph. When fully wound, it delivers an approximate 42-hour power reserve and maintains a daily average stationary accuracy of -20 to +40 seconds.

This release arrives during a monumental year for the brand, as 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of Citizen's world-first light-powered Eco-Drive watch. Operating in over 140 countries and manufacturing its components entirely in-house since 1918, Citizen continues to honor its core "Better Starts Now" philosophy. With the TSUYOSA Shore, the brand proves once again that it can seamlessly marry its rich heritage with modern, active styling.
