Oben Electric Rolls Out Its 10,000th Electric Motorcycle

Oben Electric, India's fastest-growing R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer, has officially rolled out its 10,000th electric motorcycle from its Bengaluru manufacturing facility. This significant achievement highlights the company’s evolution as an early mover in the Indian electric vehicle (EV) segment and its proven ability to design, develop, and deliver "Made-in-India" motorcycles at scale.   

A major catalyst for this recent surge in growth is the Rorr Evo model, which has emerged as a key demand driver by crossing an impressive 25,000 bookings. With production ramping up and pan-India deliveries actively underway, the company is moving quickly to meet this strong customer interest. Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, noted that this milestone reflects customer trust and reinforces the company's core belief that the electrification of motorcycles, a segment that makes up nearly 65% of India's annual two-wheeler sales, is absolutely critical for the country's broader EV transition.   

To support this rapid expansion, Oben Electric relies on its 3.5-acre, vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, which boasts an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. Setting itself apart in the market, the company designs and manufactures critical EV components entirely in-house, including advanced LFP batteries, motors, chargers, and proprietary software. This hands-on approach gives Oben Electric far greater control over its technology, product quality, and supply chains.   

Beyond its manufacturing capabilities, the brand is heavily focused on making electric mobility accessible to everyday riders. Oben Electric has built a robust retail and service ecosystem that currently features over 150 showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centers spanning more than 90 cities across 18 states. With ambitious plans to open 200 additional exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27, Oben Electric is strongly positioning itself to lead the next major phase of electric motorcycle adoption across India.
