DS Automobiles Presents the F3VER Concept as the Future of Electric Design

DS Automobiles has presented the DS F3VER Concept as a preview of its future design direction at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Built around desirability, personalisation and freedom of use, it combines a compact footprint with the comfort and flexibility of a larger vehicle. The concept measures 4.19 metres long, approximately 1.85 metres wide and 1.46 metres high, with a 2.70-metre wheelbase intended to maximise cabin space, stability and comfort while remaining easy to use in cities.

Its sculptural body, taut lines and lighting create a distinctive identity. The front features an illuminated vertical “totem” with the DS emblem and Y-shaped lights, while the rear adds a digitalised DS logo and tunnel-like multidimensional lighting. Made from 16 LED panels on an ultra-light magnesium structure inspired by the vaulted roof of Paris’s Grand Palais, the rear lighting can also animate to personalise the car, interact with its surroundings and communicate information. Other customisation features include a panoramic roof surround, extended two-tone bodywork and Cosmic Blue dichroic paint that shifts from vivid blue to deep violet.

DS F3VER is designed for daily commuting, long-distance travel, leisure and weekend trips, with a spacious interior and 400-litre boot. DS Automobiles claims a class-leading electric range, but has not released battery-capacity, power-output or exact range figures. The concept follows the brand’s “Design Intelligence” philosophy of creating “uniqueness with less” through fewer components, simpler assemblies, lighter structures and improved aerodynamics. Integrated front lighting, one-piece bumpers and the removal of unnecessary plastic around the wheel arches and lower body support this cleaner, more efficient approach while preserving luxury and individuality.
