E3 Electric has officially entered the competitive EV race with the launch of its new Trion electric scooter lineup in India. With an attractive starting price of Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), this new entrant promises a solid mix of range, smart technology, and everyday practicality. Currently, bookings are exclusively open for customers in Bengaluru through the brand's official website, with an expansion to other cities planned for the near future.

The Trion lineup caters to different commuting needs by offering three distinct variants: the C1, C1x, and the top-tier C2. The base C1, priced at Rs. 99,999, features a 2.3kWh removable battery paired with a 2.5kW motor. It delivers a claimed IDC range of 108km, a top speed of 67kmph, and can charge from 0 to 80 percent in just two and a half hours. Stepping up to the Rs. 1,09,999 C1x gets you a larger 3kWh fixed battery that extends the range to an impressive 165km, though it retains the same motor and top speed as the base model. For those seeking a bit more performance, the C2 variant shares the 3kWh fixed battery but swaps in a punchier 3.5kW motor, pushing the top speed to 82kmph while still offering a 128km range. It stands as the most premium option in the lineup at Rs. 1,19,999.

Beyond performance, E3 Electric has loaded the Trion with modern features to enhance the riding experience. All models sport a 5-inch LCD console equipped with smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation. The higher-spec C1x and C2 variants take it a step further by including AI-integrated features like adaptive learning and smart charging insights. Practicality is another major highlight, with the scooter boasting a massive 52 litres of combined storage space distributed across the under-seat compartment, glove box, and floorboard.
