MG Hector Tomahawk EV Launched at Rs 19.49 Lakh: Range & Specs

JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the highly anticipated Hector Tomahawk EV, the first model in India built on MG's advanced ADAPT architecture. Under the hood, the electric SUV packs a 69.2kWh battery paired with a front-mounted motor that delivers a punchy 204hp and 310Nm of torque. It boasts an impressive MIDC range of 517km on a single charge and can sprint from 0-100kph in just 8.2 seconds. For quick top-ups, the Tomahawk EV supports 90kW DC fast charging, which brings the battery from 30 to 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes. It also features innovative vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) capabilities, allowing the SUV to power external appliances or even charge another electric vehicle.

Inside the cabin, the Tomahawk EV is loaded with premium tech and comfort features. The dashboard is dominated by a massive 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen alongside an 8.8-inch digital driver's display. It comes packed with wireless smartphone connectivity, gesture controls, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 10-speaker Infinity sound system. Safety is thoroughly covered with six standard airbags, a 360-degree camera featuring a transparent-chassis view, and a Level 2 ADAS suite offering 11 advanced functions. On the outside, the SUV gets a closed-off fascia, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and an illuminated MG logo, and is available in both five- and seven-seat layouts.

The Hector Tomahawk EV is positioned to rival the Mahindra XEV 9S, Kia Carens Clavis EV, and Tata Harrier EV. To make the electric SUV more accessible, MG is offering a unique Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. Under BaaS, the starting price drops significantly to Rs 13.99 lakh, and buyers pay a nominal battery rental fee of Rs 4.90 per km. Standard ex-showroom prices for the variants are detailed below:
