OnePlus N6 Debuts in India with a Massive 8,000mAh Battery

OnePlus has officially unveiled the N6, the first device in its all-new N series, and it's making its debut exclusively in India. The standout feature here is undoubtedly the enormous 8,000mAh battery, which is paired with 45W SuperVOOC wired charging for relatively quick top-ups despite the cell's sheer size. The phone also supports 5W reverse wired charging, effectively turning it into a portable power bank for your accessories. OnePlus has included bypass charging to keep temperatures down during heavy gaming sessions, and the battery is rated to withstand over 1,600 charge cycles while retaining more than 80% of its health even after seven years of use.

Under the hood, the N6 is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, available with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The front is dominated by a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, reaching up to 1,200 nits of peak local brightness. An 8MP selfie camera sits inside a punch-hole cutout, while the back houses a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. On the software side, the device runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16, with OnePlus promising two major OS updates and three years of security patches.

The OnePlus N6 comes in Fresh Mint and Midnight Green colorways. Pricing starts at INR 22,999 (approximately $243) for the 4GB/128GB model and INR 24,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. Open sales kick off on July 4 through OnePlus India and Amazon India.
