Tata Punch EV Prices Hiked by Rs. 20k

Tata Motors has recently revised the pricing for its popular sub-compact electric SUV, the Tata Punch EV. Following its facelift earlier this year, the model has now seen a price hike of up to Rs. 20,000 across its lineup. With this upward revision, the new ex-showroom prices for the Punch EV now range between Rs. 9.79 lakh for the base variant and Rs. 12.99 lakh for the top-spec model.

The exact quantum of the price increase depends largely on the battery pack. Customers looking at the standard 30kWh battery models in the Smart and Smart+ trims will have to shell out an additional Rs. 10,000. On the other hand, all variants equipped with the larger 40kWh battery pack, which includes the Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+ S trims, have received a uniform price bump of Rs. 20,000.

Despite the increased cost, the Tata Punch EV remains mechanically unchanged and continues to offer strong performance and range. It is available with two power outputs: an 87bhp/154Nm setup for the 30kWh version (claiming a 355km range) and a punchier 127bhp/154Nm motor for the 40kWh version (claiming up to 468km of range). The EV also retains its distinctive styling elements like the closed-off grille and connected lights, ensuring it remains a competitive and attractive option in the growing Indian EV market.
