Tissot Expands Its Lineup with the New PRX 41mm Quartz Chronograph
Tissot has launched the PRX 41mm Quartz Chronograph (T137.417.11.041.00), adding a battery-powered chronograph variant to its T-Classic collection. The release utilizes the integrated-bracelet case shape from the brand's 1978 design while integrating a modern quartz chronograph module.
The model is built around a 41mm 316L stainless steel case with a thickness of 11.65mm and a lug width of 13mm. The case features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and provides a water resistance rating of 10 bar (100 meters / 330 feet). The total weight of the watch is 151 grams.
Powering the watch is the Swiss Quartz chronograph PowerDrive movement (Caliber G10.212). Operating on a 1.55V battery, the mechanism includes an End-of-Life (EOL) indicator, a central 60-second chronograph hand, and sub-dials for 30-minute and 1/10 of a second counters. The movement also supports ADD and SPLIT timekeeping functions. A contrasting white date window is positioned on the dial.
The dial is finished in blue with standard index markers. Both the markers and the needle-shaped hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in low-light conditions. The watch is paired with a metal 316L stainless steel interchangeable quick-release bracelet, secured by a butterfly clasp with push-buttons.
