Tissot Introduces the Supersport NBA 2026 42mm Chronograph

Tissot has officially launched the Supersport NBA 2026 42mm, adding a new quartz chronograph to its Sport collection. Designed in relation to the North American professional basketball league, this model incorporates specific NBA-themed details into its structure while functioning as a standard sports chronograph.

The watch is built around a 42mm 316L stainless steel case with a case height of 11.27mm, a lug width of 22mm, and a total weight of 96 grams. The case features a stainless steel bezel with markers indicating 24 seconds, referencing the basketball shot clock. The caseback includes a detailed engraving of the official NBA logo. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters (10 bar / 330 ft).

The Supersport NBA 2026 is powered by a Swiss Quartz chronograph PowerDrive movement operating on a 1.55V battery. This caliber includes an EOL (battery end-of-life indicator), a 30-minute counter, a 1/10 of a second counter, a central 60-second chronograph hand, alongside standard ADD and SPLIT timekeeping functions.

The dial layout features a grey base protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating applied to the underside. It includes standard index markers, a date display window positioned at 4 o'clock, and hands and indices coated with Super-LumiNova. The central stop-second hand incorporates a miniature NBA logo in blue, white, and red.

For the strap, Tissot pairs this model with a grey Nitrile Rubber (HNBR-NBR) strap (reference T603052768) secured by a standard pin buckle. The strap system utilizes quick-release spring bars, allowing for tool-free strap changes and compatibility with other 22mm Tissot straps.
