TVS iQube 2.3 kWh Launched with 114 km Range

TVS Motor Company has rolled out a brand-new 2.3 kWh variant of its popular iQube electric scooter, priced at ₹1,16,310 (ex-showroom Delhi). Replacing the previous 2.2 kWh base model, this new entry-level offering comes with a negligible price bump of just ₹988 but packs slightly larger battery. Available in three appealing colors—Titanium Grey, Walnut Brown, and Pearl White—the updated iQube aims to offer a highly practical and budget-friendly solution for daily urban commuters.

The biggest highlight of this launch is the improved mileage. Thanks to the upgraded 2.3 kWh battery pack, the scooter now boasts an impressive claimed range of 114 km on a single charge, which is a solid 20 km increase over its predecessor. Using the standard 950W charger, the battery can juice up from 0 to 80 percent in around 2 hours and 50 minutes. However, this extra range does come with a slight trade-off in outright performance, as the top speed has been dialed back from 75 kmph to a more modest 68 kmph.

In terms of tech and hardware, TVS has made a few strategic tweaks to keep costs in check. The most notable change is the switch from a premium TFT screen to a new 5-inch LCD display. Despite this change, the scooter retains all its essential connected features, including Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and a reverse mode. Powered by the same reliable 3.68 kW hub-mounted motor and retaining its standard suspension setup, this new 2.3 kWh iQube perfectly balances an affordable price tag with enhanced everyday usability.
