Ultraviolette X47 Venom Gets Front and Rear Dashcams
Ultraviolette has launched the new X47 Venom electric crossover motorcycle in India at an introductory price of ₹2.65 lakh, ex-showroom. Positioned as a performance-focused electric motorcycle, the X47 Venom combines strong acceleration, long riding range and advanced technology aimed at both city riders and touring enthusiasts. Bookings opened on October 22, while deliveries are expected to begin in November.
One of the most useful features on the X47 Venom is its integrated front and rear dashcam system. The cameras are built into the motorcycle and support continuous recording in 1080p at 30 frames per second. Ultraviolette says the system uses Sony IMX307 HDR sensors and includes wide-angle front and rear camera modules. Riders can record their journeys, review footage easily and have an added layer of security while riding. The dashcams also work with the motorcycle’s park-assist system, making it easier to reverse in tight spaces.
The X47 Venom is powered by a 30kW electric motor that produces 550Nm of wheel torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in a claimed 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 155kmph. The motorcycle is offered with different battery options, with the larger 11kWh pack offering a claimed IDC range of up to 343km. It also supports fast charging and comes with a seven-inch Qualcomm-powered touchscreen display featuring navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and a 35W USB charging port.
Along with the dashcams, the X47 Venom gets radar-based safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance and rear-collision warnings. With its rugged crossover design, 200mm ground clearance and upright riding position, the motorcycle is designed to handle daily commuting as well as longer weekend rides. The combination of high performance, advanced safety technology and front-and-rear recording makes the X47 Venom one of the more feature-rich electric motorcycles in its segment.
