Ultraviolette X47 Venom Launched at ₹2.65 Lakh

Ultraviolette has launched the new X-47 Venom electric crossover motorcycle in India at an introductory price of ₹2.65 lakh, ex-showroom. This introductory offer is available for the first 5,000 customers. Bookings open on October 22, 2026, while deliveries are scheduled to begin in November. The motorcycle is based on Ultraviolette’s new VX-100 platform, which brings improvements in performance, battery technology, charging and safety.
The X-47 Venom uses a 30kW electric motor that produces 550Nm of wheel torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in a claimed 2.7 seconds and reach 100kmph in 5.9 seconds. The motorcycle has a top speed of 155kmph, making it one of the faster electric motorcycles available in India. Its kerb weight is 180kg, which is nearly 20kg lower than the regular X-47 Crossover.

The motorcycle is available with two battery options. The 7.5kWh battery offers a claimed IDC range of 227km, while the larger 11kWh battery delivers up to 343km on a single charge. The 11kWh SRB-11 battery pack is one of the largest battery units used in an Indian electric two-wheeler. Ultraviolette says the new battery architecture is more energy dense and lighter than before. It also gets improved cooling, allowing the battery to maintain performance for longer periods.
The motorcycle supports 12kW DC fast charging and comes with a 1.6kW onboard charger. The new platform also improves regenerative braking and allows the motorcycle’s performance-focused Ballistic riding mode to be used across a wider battery charge range. Ultraviolette has also added a Pyro Fuse system, which can isolate a section of the battery if it detects an electrical problem.

In terms of design, the X-47 Venom retains the rugged crossover styling of the X-47. It gets a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, a sharp side profile and increased ground clearance of 200mm. The motorcycle has an 820mm seat height and is offered in shades such as Stellar White, Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow and Cosmic Black. Its longer-travel suspension and upright riding position are designed to make it suitable for both city riding and weekend touring.

The motorcycle comes with a seven-inch Qualcomm-powered touchscreen display, onboard navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, call and message alerts, cruise control and a 35W USB charging port. It also features integrated front and rear dash cameras that support continuous 1080p recording. These cameras work with the park-assist system, helping riders reverse the motorcycle in tight parking spaces.
Safety technology is one of the biggest highlights of the X-47 Venom. It gets a rear-mounted radar system that supports blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings. The motorcycle also includes traction control and switchable dual-channel ABS. Ultraviolette claims that the battery pack is covered by a warranty of up to eight years or 8,00,000km, depending on the selected variant and terms.
The X-47 Venom range includes multiple variants, with prices going up to ₹3.99 lakh for the top-spec version. With its high performance, long claimed range, fast charging and advanced rider-assistance features, the new electric motorcycle is positioned as a premium alternative for buyers looking for both everyday practicality and touring capability.
