VinFast Hikes Prices for VF 6 and VF 7 Electric SUVs in India

Vietnamese automaker VinFast has announced a price increase for its premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, in the Indian market. Buyers looking to bring home these new EVs will now need to stretch their budgets a bit further, as the company has hiked prices by up to ₹1.13 lakh, depending on the chosen model and trim.

The compact VinFast VF 6 receives a uniform price bump of ₹90,000 across all three of its variants: Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity. Following this revision, the VF 6 is now priced between ₹18.19 lakh and ₹20.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is powered by a 59.6 kWh battery pack that promises a driving range of up to 480 km on a single charge. Its front-mounted electric motor pushes out 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.89 seconds.

For the larger VinFast VF 7, the price increase ranges from ₹1.10 lakh to ₹1.13 lakh across its five distinct trims. The updated ex-showroom pricing now starts at ₹22.99 lakh for the base configuration and tops out at ₹28.09 lakh. The VF 7 offers two battery pack options (59.6 kWh and 70.8 kWh) and is available in both single-motor front-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive layouts. The most powerful AWD versions deliver an impressive 345 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, making it a compelling, albeit now slightly pricier, option in the electric SUV space.
