Bajaj has unveiled the adventure-ready Dominar 400 "Tera" in Colombia, priced at roughly ₹5.52 lakh (COP 20.39 lakh). Unlike the standard road-biased cruiser available in India, this factory-customized model leans heavily into rugged aesthetics. It features an exclusive earthy brown paint scheme, fresh graphics with 3D badging, and most notably, block-pattern knobby tires designed for tackling dirt trails right off the showroom floor.

Under the hood, the Tera’s 373cc engine delivers 40 PS and 35 Nm of torque—sacrificing a tiny fraction of horsepower (0.6 PS less) for a slight bump in low-end grunt (1.8 Nm more) compared to the Indian model. Interestingly, the Tera takes a step back on technology. While the latest Indian Dominar boasts Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, traction control, and turn-by-turn navigation, the Colombian Tera sticks to the older-generation dual-screen LCD console, relying on essential safety features like dual-channel ABS and all-LED lighting.
While it does not have the long-travel suspension of a true adventure bike, the Tera offers a fantastic, rugged alternative for riders wanting a tougher stance without aftermarket modifications. Currently, Bajaj has not confirmed if this off-road-styled Dominar will ever make its way to Indian shores, but it would certainly inject some fresh excitement into the local power-cruiser lineup.
