Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition Debuts with BaaS Model from Rs. 11.45 Lakh

Mahindra has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the BE 6 Sporteq Edition in India. This new edition is offered with two purchasing options: a starting price of Rs. 11.45 lakh under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, or Rs. 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for an outright purchase. Buyers can choose from an extensive range of variants, including Pack 1 through Pack 4, as well as specific Launch and Formula E editions.

The Sporteq Edition brings a fresh, tech-focused interior to the BE 6. The most notable upgrade is the addition of a third screen on the dashboard, creating a highly digital cockpit experience. It also features a revised center console designed for better utility, offering improved storage space and easier access to the wireless charger and cup holders. The cabin is finished in an exclusive 'Racing Tan' interior theme, paired with new upholstery and integrated Google Gemini support.

On the outside, the vehicle distinguishes itself with new 'Sporteq' badging and introduces two new striking exterior color options: Ruby Velvet and Graphite Storm. However, the core mechanics remain unchanged. The BE 6 Sporteq Edition continues to be powered by the same 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs found in the standard model, keeping the underlying technical specifications identical.
